Best in Beauty 2013

Happy 2014 everyone!

So sorry its been such a long time since the last post! Life has gotten very busy for +Stephanie Louridakis and I. But we're back and looking forward to posting more often!!

Last year went by in a flash and today I want to share my favorite beauty products from last year, both drugstore and high end. So let's get started...

Cetaphil. This year I discovered Cetaphil Moisturizing Facewash for dry skin with eczema and I absolutely love it. In the winter my skin gets terribly dry and I use this wash with my Clarisonic and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Total Moisture. I love this moisturizer. I use it on my face and body in the winter months and I can't get enough. It is not expensive at all and it smells good too.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation. I've mentioned this product before in my Best Drugstore Foundations post and it really is a favorite. I always get compliments when wearing this foundation. I love the coverage, the finish and it comes in so many different shades. They also have a Lumi option, for us drier skinned ladies!

Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Skin Renew. This you might remember from our post on Great Drugstore Concealers. I use this all the time and I have repurchased this product more than once. I love the cooling effect of the rollerball underneath the eyes and I love that the product is a very thin consistency that looks like skin once you blend it in. Plus, I am a sucker for 2 in 1 products so if the caffeine and plant extracts help alleviate dark circles, sign me up. I just love it.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch. Whew! What a name! But the product is fabulous. I bought these because I saw them at my drugstore on sale for 3.00$ and once I tried them I went back and doubled up. I love these! There are four shades  : a pearly one, a bronzy one, a pink one and a peach one.  I use them as liquid highlighter on my cheekbone, on the inner corner of my eye, my cupids bow over my lip, down the center of my nose and under the arch of my eyebrow.
Sometimes I mix them together and use them as a blush because they are quite pigmented. For me this is the best drugstore find of 2013.

Urban Decay Lipstick in Native. I've worn this colour almost every day for the past few months. It became an instant staple. It pairs well with most makeup looks, it goes on really nicely and the packaging is gorg!

MAC Cosmetics Pigment in Naked. I am a fan of MAC pigments, I have lots of them and they are really great quality. My most used pigments I would say are Vanilla and Tan, but this year I bought Naked and I used it on a daily basis. I would apply it all over my lid and switch out the color in my crease and that way I would create so many different looks using just one pigment.

NARS ITA Contour Brush. I love sculpting out contours with this brush. It is so amazing and makes contouring so much easier. It is quite expensive, but if you are a makeup artist or you contour everyday (and you take makeup very seriously, lol) then I say splurge. It is so worth it.

Selena Gomez Vivamore Perfume. I use this perfume very often, I was so pleasantly surprised when I got this. It has a sweet and fresh smell and it is just so feminine. I love it. The keynotes are Tahitian Vanilla, Calla Lilly, Caramelized Sugar, Watery Watermelon, White Tea and Pink Lemonade.

Jessica Simpson Fancy Perfume. I love perfume so that is why there are two perfumes on my favorites of the year. This is my first ever perfume bought by Jessica Simpson and I love the bottle and I fell in love with the perfume. It smells fancy, haha, I get why she called it that. The keynotes are: pear, apricot and red berries, gardenia, jasmine, almond and caramel, sandalwood, vanilla and amber.

These are the products that I fell in love with in 2013 and I am taking them into 2014. I hope you guys liked this post. Share your favorites down below!!

Lots of love,
